Plot[]

The episode begins with Mickey welcoming everyone, only to find out that the entire club is extremely dirty and full of garbage everywhere. Clarabelle explains to Mickey that the Magic Brooms are on vacation, so Minnie hired the bears from Brownstone Park to fill in for them until they return. Outside, Ranger Woodlore is explaining to the bears that they will be working for food in the House of Mouse, exciting all the bears. They immediately get to work, except for Humphrey who sneaks away to get some food. He is caught by Donald and Goofy, who instantly recognize him. Humphrey then tries to sneak into the kitchen, but Ranger Woodlore forces him to get back to work. While the bears are cleaning up the mess, Mickey puts on a cartoon that he hopes the audience will grin and "bear".

Humphrey has now disguised as a penguin waiter in order to get some food, but Goofy gives him more dishes to deliver to the tables. The other penguin waiters come to deliver the food. Mickey now has Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather perform a cooking routine for the audience, but Humphrey disguises himself as Merryweather. Ranger Woodlore immediately catches him in the act and reminds him that in order for Humphrey to eat, he has to work hard for it. Humphrey tries to sneak a bite from Willy the Whale, but he is thrown away. The bear then builds a robot that looks like him to do his work while he tries to sneak another bite. While the bears make the place more "bearable", Mickey puts on another cartoon.

Ranger Woodlore catches the fake Humphrey and lines up the other bears, including the real Humphrey. Performing another version of The Humphrey Hop, the ranger leads the bears into cleaning up the mess alongside music, but Humphrey uses his picket to steal the audience members' dinners. Donald catches him and has a fight with Humphrey, making an even bigger mess by tearing the bag. Ranger Woodlore forces Humphrey to clean it up, and Mickey tells Donald to help Humphrey. Later, the Magic Brooms return from their vacation, and the bears are given food baskets as a reward for cleaning up the House of Mouse as they board the bus back to Brownstone Park, except for Humphrey, who still has to clean up the mess he made earlier as a punishment, much to his dismay. After Humphrey stops cleaning, one of the Magic Brooms force him to continue cleaning up.
